About the Client, about the Project
Polskie Zakłady Zbożowe (Polish Grain Mills) is one of the largest producers of wheat flour in southeastern Poland. With a long-standing tradition, the company is known for delivering high-quality products that meet strict industry standards. PZZ is also an organization focused on growth&mdash;both in terms of process innovation and building a strong, engaged workplace culture. As part of our collaboration, we designed a set of infographics illustrating the flour production process in relation to the factory layout. The goal was to help employees better understand and navigate the different production stages across multiple levels of the building.
The Story - Our Approach
We created a set of six informational boards that visually organize the production process&mdash;from grain to final product. The main infographic presents the full technological workflow across seven vertical levels, reflecting the real floors of the production facility. Each illustration is based on photographic documentation of the actual machines and includes simplified diagrams showing how the raw material moves through the equipment. Additional floor-specific boards were installed on-site, each featuring real machine photos and a simplified floor plan with marked equipment locations. Altogether, the system forms a functional and visually consistent wayfinding solution that supports day-to-day operations and makes complex processes more transparent for the team.

The main board shows the process of creating flour from grain to the finished product sold in stores. In order to illustrate the process, an infographic was created, consisting of seven planes representing the floors of the building.

On each floor, there are illustrations of machines used to produce flour. The illustrations are based on real photos of the devices. The machines also have a visualization of the process through which the grain goes inside the device.

We designed 5 additional boards that were placed on the floors of the building. They contain photos of the machines located on the floor and simplified infographics, visualizing the layout of the machines on a scale of the entire facility.
